About Consultations
There is a $150 fee for a 30-minute video consultation
If you just want to know how I work, and whether we might be a good match, please email. There’s no charge for that kind of discussion. (It shouldn’t cost you anything to walk into a store to see if you like it!)
If we’re going to discuss specifics about your case, however, that’s different. Substantive discussions can only happen in the context of a formal consultation. For that, there is a $150 fee.
There’s another reason the consultation has to be more formal. I can’t discuss your case until I have had the opportunity to conduct a conflict check and to review the facts. I may decline your request for a consultation for any reason.
I conduct consultations on Zoom, not in person.
Payment must be received prior to the consultation, via the Clio online payment portal (I’ll send you a link). PayPal is also an option (I’ll email the correct address for you to use). You could also mail a check, but that will delay scheduling. Appointments missed without prior notice will be billed.
Communicating with Russell Law in any manner does not establish a client-lawyer relationship.

2711 Allen Blvd., Suite 300 #410
Middleton, WI 53562
(Please don’t actually go there. I work virtually.)
Phone:
I am not available by telephone, without an appointment. Do I care about your call? Of course. But I am a solo practitioner without staff. My rates would be substantially higher, if I had such overhead. I will respond to you promptly, via email, and if necessary provide a telephone number.

Please use the form at right to forward an email to me.

My data privacy and security policies are available on request. They are included as a part of every new engagement agreement.
